| The Hong Kong Department of Health has launched a strategic document entitled ˇ§Promoting Health in Hong Kong: A Strategic Framework for Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseasesˇ¨. The framework draws together the expert opinions from various disciplines and making references to the World Health Organizationˇ¦s guiding principles in disease prevention and health promotion. It sets out the vision, goal and strategic directions which will help shape an environment that is conducive to sustaining Hong Kong peopleˇ¦s health and well-being.
