Management of women with abnormal smears would involve referrals to gynaecology
specialists and subsequent appropriate diagnostic workups to determine
which women are at risk of significant cervical disease and treating pre-invasive
lesions. The management guidelines
of different conditions issued by the Hong
Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002 can be found
