“Promoting Health in Hong Kong : A Strategic Framework for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases” has been published

The Hong Kong Department of Health has launched a strategic document entitled “Promoting Health in Hong Kong: A Strategic Framework for Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases”. The framework draws together the expert opinions from various disciplines and making references to the World Health Organization’s guiding principles in disease prevention and health promotion. It sets out the vision, goal and strategic directions which will help shape an environment that is conducive to sustaining Hong Kong people’s health and well-being. The document has highlighted cervical cancer screening as an effective strategy to prevent cancer. Please click here and take a look at the document.

Poster Campaign at Railway Networks

To sustain the public awareness on cervical cancer prevention
and increase the coverage rate of cervical cancer screening, CSP posters
were posted up at the railway networks in Hong Kong, namely East Rail,

Poster Campaign at Bus Shelter Networks

In order to strengthen the awareness of public to cervical
cancer prevention, posters about cervical cancer screening will be
placed at bus shelter networks in different areas of Hong Kong in
February and March. Please take notice of the above activities.
