Launch of the Hong Kong Cancer Strategy 2019

   

26 July 2019

Hong Kong’s first cancer strategy was promulgated on 26 July 2019. Phased outcomes related to prevention and control of cancer are set to be achieved by 2025, including a 10% relative increase in coverage for cervical cancer screening. The Cervical Screening Service 24-hour Phone Booking and Information hotline (3166 6631) in Family Health Service of Department of Health suspended earlier on 15 July 2019 has resumed on 16 July 2019.

Due to system maintenance, the Cervical Screening Service 24-hour Phone Booking and Information hotline (3166 6631) in Family Health Service of Department of Health will be temporarily suspended on 15 July 2019.

Anne Black Maternal and Child Health Centre (MCHC) has undergone renovation and closed temporarily from 2 July 2019 (Please click here for details). The date of service resumption at Anne Black MCHC would be posted on Family Health Service website (http://www.fhs.gov.hk) timely when available.

"Care You Deserve" Women's Cancers Campaign - Charity Walk

Cancer is the top killer in Hong Kong. To echo with the World Cancer Day (4th February of every year), Senior Medical and Health Officer of the Department of Health Dr Andrew Lau and Senior Dietitian Ms Mandy Kwan shared tips on preventing cancer and dietary advice for the Lunar New Year.
